ONE FILE FORMAT FOR ALL APPLICATION VERSIONS
The original AutoCAD file format (DWG) had 20 versions in as many years, diminishing quality, interoperability, and user experience. On the other hand, MicroStation's native file format (DGN) always remains in one version, regardless of the application version you open it in. There is no need for file conversion - freely share DGN files within and outside the team, enabling everyone to carry out their part of the project efficiently and seamlessly. This makes MicroStation the top choice for large and long-term engineering projects.

Loading large DGN files in MicroStation takes less time than you might think.
