The most renowned Bentley application, MicroStation, has taken a significant developmental leap forward in its CONNECT Edition. Alongside native data management and collaboration support in the ProjectWise Cloud environment, the user interface has been redesigned, and new capabilities for working with various data formats have been introduced, along with support for working with Reality modeling data. MicroStation serves as the foundational CAD application for all subsequent vertical applications, such as building design solutions, civil engineering for pipeline, communication, electrical, and municipal infrastructure, as well as spatial data management in a unified 2D and 3D environment. All functionalities originally available in MicroStation are continuously supported in all verticals, eliminating the need to procure multiple applications.
